Buzzing! Gorgeous interiors, magical imagery, rising stars, plus busy bees, books and business at its best

A spring issue with bees on the brain. We meet the Cardiff researchers studying honey and the International Bee Research Association, find out which plants bees love, and visit Classy Curtains at 20, a fairy photography studio in St Clears and the long-running Sunday market at Carew Airfield.

On the cover

Our bees come from W.D.J. Kirk, author of Plants for Bees, the beautifully illustrated book published by the International Bee Research Association in Cardiff. After a wet 2012 that left bees struggling, Rob Hodge explains what to plant to help them, and Cardiff Metropolitan University’s Dr Sarah Maddocks and Dr Rowena Jenkins tell us about their research into the antimicrobial power of honey.
