Fresh! Launch issue! Shops, boutiques, restaurants and more, plus stunning beach and festival wear, and The Wales 100

The very first West Life, made in West Wales for West Wales and Cardigan Bay. Restaurant reviews from Narberth, Tenby and Llanelli sit alongside a guide to Tenby, beach and festival fashion, The Wales 100 of Welsh music and a round-up of favourite independent shops from Aberystwyth to Milford Haven.

On the cover

For our launch issue we wanted a cover that tasted of the region, and the mussels came courtesy of Sosban, the restaurant in the converted hydraulic pump house on Llanelli’s North Dock. Inside, our reviewer dines alone in a corner booth there, working through crab lasagne and Barbary duck, and notes that four owners, two of them Welsh rugby stars, have thought about every detail down to the copper bar and the sun terrace.
